Psychosocial Medicine - Psy 1

The ÖÄK diploma "Psychosocial Medicine" provides an introduction to the bio-psycho-social health and disease model, is proof of competence in sociomedical tasks and topics, and qualifies students for medical consultation in theory and practice in the psycho-social domain. The theory-driven “speaking therapy” approach taught here opens up the wide range of narrative based medicine. DFP (Diplom-Fortbildungsprogramm – diploma training program) further education points are to be applied for from the “akademie der ärzte”. The continuing education seminar series "Psychosocial Medicine - Psy1" counts towards the DFP diploma.
