The TCM course offered by Danube University Krems is tailored to practicing physicians. However, it is also open to graduates immediately after completing their regular studies, and provides a meaningful, fulfilling additional qualification for all.

With its wealth of experience spanning thousands of years, TCM provides answers. The spectrum of courses ranges from basic TCM knowledge to in-depth special modules in acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
The TCM courses have been accredited by the Austrian Medical Association. The two ÖÄK (Österreichische Ärtzekammer) diplomas in TCM "Acupuncture" and "Chinese Diagnostics and Pharmacology" can be submitted upon completion of the master's degree. DFP points are also credited!

- Persons with a general university entrance qualification and at least 3 years’ qualified work experience in a profession specific to human or veterinary medicine.

University course "Basics of Chinese Medicine". Certified Program
- Persons with an internationally recognized academic degree in human medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy or pharmacology or another health profession degree.
- Persons with a general university entrance qualification and at least 3 years’ qualified work experience or
- Persons without a general university entrance qualification and at least 5 years’ qualified work experience.
For everyone interested in TCM and who would like to acquire basic knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine. The short program corresponds to the 1st semester of the other TCM courses and can be accredited 100% towards these.
