Description
Hybrid learning in the narrower sense (also: synchronous hybrid learning) means that both learners in a physical classroom and remote learners (online) participate in instruction simultaneously. At the Wirtschafts.Akademien.Waldviertel, educational specialisations (ASP) across four school sites have been offered in a hybrid teaching-learning setting since the 2020/21 school year. Although hybrid teaching-learning settings have been highly popularised since the COVID-19 pandemic, only few studies have been conducted to date that have examined success conditions of hybrid teaching-learning settings, particularly in the school context. The aim of this participatory research project is to design and develop innovative hybrid teaching-learning scenarios and to investigate pedagogical, technical and cooperation-related success conditions of hybrid teaching-learning settings in schools. Another goal of the project is to longitudinally investigate changes in hybrid ASP instruction over time.
