The Service Center for Students (SCS) of the University for Continuing Education Krems is the central point of contact for matters related to the organization and legal aspects of studying.
We support prospective students, students and staff in the organization, administration and implementation of studies and teaching.
Our tasks
The SCS manages students' study data from their application to graduation or de-registration. The central tasks are in particular admission to studies, continuation of studies, recognition of academic achievements and central examination administration.
What we do:
• Conducting the admission procedure for domestic and international applicants
• Administration of the continuation notification
• Enrollment and deregistration from studies
• Leave of absence from studies
• Issuance of the StudentServiceCard (student ID)
• Administration of the central student directories
• Information and advice for students on the range of study programs offered
• Provision of information to students regarding study regulations
• Issuance of study-related confirmations
• Processing applications for the recognition of academic achievements
• Processing applications for non-disclosure notices for theses
• Administration of the central examination records
• Adopting examination results
• Creating final documents and duplicates
• Information and advice on the topic of “accessible studying”
• Processing applications for alternative examination methods
• Information on scholarships and grants

The service center is located on the ground floor of the central building of the University of Krems and can be accessed via the main entrance next to Café Virginier
