Verifying the official signature
You can check officially signed e-documents by clicking the following link: https://www.signaturpruefung.gv.at
There, the central verification service of "Rundfunk und Telekom Regulierungs-GmbH" is available and is the place for you to simply upload the electronic document you want to verify.
Verifying officially signed paper printouts
The University for Continuing Education Krems can verify a printed official signed document. There are several ways to submit the printout:
- In person at the Student Service Center during business hours.
- By e-mail (complete scan or photo of the document) to scs@donau-uni.ac.at
- By postal mail (original or copy) addressed to the University for Continuing Education Krems, Service Center for Students, Dr.-Karl-Dorrek-Str. 30, 3500 Krems, Austria
The university then checks whether the document is the correct one. In case of a positive examination, you will receive the following answer: "The document you have submitted originates from the stated authority and its content has not been changed". In case of a negative verification, the following is responded: "The University for Continuing Education Krems was not able to verify the document you submitted."
Senders agree, upon submission, that their provided data will be processed for the purpose of verifying the document and being contacted in order to receive notification of the verification result. This data will not be passed on to third parties.
Important note: A request for verification does not suspend the deadline!
