About the person

Marion Löffler is senior researcher at the Department for European Policy and the Study of Democracy as well as lecturer of Political Science and Gender Studies at the Universities of Vienna and Innsbruck. Most recently she was Aigner-Rollett Visiting Professor for Gender Research at the University of Graz, after holding a visiting professorship of Gender and Politics at the Department of Political Science at the University of Vienna. Her research foci are on theories of democracy and state, parliamentary research and democratic development as well as gender and masculinity studies in political science.
