Description

The working program of NICE 2 will both contribute to the advancement of knowledge in our field and to the definition of new approaches. On the one hand, we will pool our joint knowledge on educating CG practitioners into a Tuning Handbook which we will also employ to develop the quality of our own degree programs. Part of this program will deal with an exchange about very innovative aspects of career guidance & counselling, particularly in terms of teaching this discipline, but also in regards to what the discipline itself comprises. Beyond employing such new approaches (for our field) as Tuning and the development of our study programs through collegial counselling techniques, we hope to further expand our knowledge in our field through the facilitation of various dialogues on the future of our discipline. Through the involvement of many disciplines (e.g. psychology, education, management) and inviting stakeholder (e.g. policy-makers, practitioners) to discuss with us at a large conference, we will gain new insights on the trends and developments needs for the future of our field. All aspects of the working program go far beyond what we have accomplished (and will accomplish) in the first period of the NICE Network
