Description

The aim of the project “Labour Migration Strategy” is to support Poland with the development of a comprehensive and sustainable policy framework for labour migration based on the country’s socio-economic needs and drawing on past experiences of EU member states and other relevant countries. Set against the background of a growing structural and economic demand for high and low-skilled labour in Poland, this project targets relevant Polish government ministries and public administrations in order to increase their institutional capacity to design and implement labour migration policies in line with strategic priorities. The project’s capacity development efforts are primarily directed towards increasing overall institutional knowledge on labour migration policy, and improving inter-agency cooperation both on the overall migration policy framework and the implementation of specific programs targeting particular groups of migrants. In addition, the project places an emphasis on supporting Polish institutions in the monitoring and evaluation of migration related policies.
