As a first step, job advertisements are published in the bulletin of the University for Continuing Education Krems. In addition, job advertisements are also published on the website of the University for Continuing Education Krems under ‘Vacancies’. The choice of other media depends on the type of job advertisement.

If you can’t find the job posting on the website, the application deadline has already passed. Therefore, applications for this vacancy are not possible anymore. 

The application form cannot be saved temporarily. We recommend reviewing and preparing all the documents you wish to upload in advance. 

If you forgot something while filling out the application form, you can send us the missing information or documents. You can contact us via mail: bewerbung@donau-uni.ac.at. We will complete your application for you and upload your documents to the system. 

In this case, please summarise documents such as diplomas, references and certificates of attendance or letters of recommendation in one PDF and then upload them. 

Due to the obligation to advertise jobs in accordance with the Universities Act 2002, applications must always refer to specific job advertisements. If you are interested in a vacancy, please apply for the specific vacancy. 

Please find the procedure for the appointment process for a professorship below. We will inform you about the status of the process as soon as possible. You will receive further information by email after you have submitted your complete application. If you have any questions or uncertainties, please contact bewerbung@donau-uni.ac.at. 

Your application data is generally deleted after 6 months. You can find all the details in our privacy policy on our website. 

All applications received by the application deadline will be reviewed by the head of the organisational unit advertising the job. 

Interviews are conducted by the respective head of the organisational unit, with the involvement of the Working Group on Equality Issues. Your application documents will be kept strictly confidential throughout the entire selection process. 

Immediately after submitting your application documents via the application tool, you will receive an automatically generated confirmation of receipt. 

After the application deadline, it may take a few days before you receive feedback on your application. We ask for your patience. 

We ask for your understanding that travel and accommodation costs incurred during selection and admission procedures won’t be reimbursed by the University for Continuing Education Krems.
