In accordance with the terms of the Universities Act 2002, all permanent vacancies must be advertised publicly. 

As a first step, job advertisements are published in the bulletin of the University for Continuing Education Krems. In addition, job advertisements are also published on the website of the University for Continuing Education Krems under ‘Vacancies’. The choice of other media depends on the type of job advertisement. 

You can access the application tool by selecting the job advertisement. Fill in the required fields. Your application documents, consisting of CV and references/certificates/degrees etc, should be uploaded to the application tool for the desired job advertisement. 

If you are interested and fulfil the qualification profile, please upload your CV, a letter of motivation, references and certificates via the application tool. Additional documents may be requested in the advertisement. 

Please note that applications can only be considered if they are sent via the application tool. This rule does not apply to advertisements of professorships. 

In this case, please summarise documents such as diplomas, references and certificates of attendance or letters of recommendation in one PDF and then upload them. 

Due to the obligation to advertise jobs in accordance with the Universities Act 2002, applications must always refer to specific job advertisements. If you are interested in a vacancy, please apply for the specific vacancy. 

All applications received by the application deadline will be reviewed by the head of the organisational unit advertising the job. 

Interviews are conducted by the respective head of the organisational unit, with the involvement of the Working Group on Equality Issues. Your application documents will be kept strictly confidential throughout the entire selection process. 

Immediately after submitting your application documents via the application tool, you will receive an automatically generated confirmation of receipt. 

After the application deadline, it may take a few days before you receive feedback on your application. We ask for your patience. 

Applications received after the application deadline cannot be considered. The application deadline ends at midnight on the day stated (Timezone Austria). By this time, the documents must be in the system.

The University for Continuing Education Krems will not refund any costs (e.g. travelling expenses) incurred during the application process.
