Once again the best ideas and solutions on societal relevant topics such as health, education, mobility and digitalization are given the chance to win the tecnet | accent Innovation Award 2019. Innovative inventions and research results shall be awarded in the course of the competition searching for the highest potential impact on future economic and social developments. Danube University Krems’ collaboration with accent and Tecnet Equity targets on inviting interested parties to submit their projects by sending in a poster, to finally award the best one with 3,000 Euros. Participation in a coaching workshop for submission is recommended. The deadline for submissions ends on 27 September 2019.
The tecnet | accent Innovation Award is presented for the second time. Danube University Krems - in cooperation with accent and Tecnet Equity - aims to encourage scientific employees of Danube University Krems, the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems and the Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences as well as their students and graduates to participate in the competition.
Ideas and solutions that address societal relevant topics such as health, education, mobility or digitalization shall be awarded recognizing achievements and social benefits initiated. Both basic and applied research projects can be submitted.
Coaching workshops for submissions
In June and September two workshops are offered by Danube University Krems to support the submission process. Information about the steps-by- step process, occurring challenges up to the economic implementation of research results are conveyed. The submitters will also be trained in preparing the project's presentation they hold in front of the expert jury. If required, English can be offered as workshop language.
Submission deadline: 27 September.
The Provincial Parliamentarian Dr. Petra Bohuslav will attend the award ceremony which will take place at Danube University Krems on 19 November 2019.
