Description

The goal of this methods study is to use the Cochrane Classmate platform to create a large enough reviewer base to eliminate the impact of subjective skills and expertise of individual reviewers on results comparing the validity of single- with dual-reviewer abstract screening. Furthermore, we strive to assess the impact of skills, experience and domain knowledge of reviewers on the accuracy of the abstract screening process. The objectives are: - To assess the accuracy of single- compared with dual-reviewer abstract screening - To determine the impact of skills, expertise and domain knowledge of reviewers on the accuracy of the abstract screening process.
