Young people in urban space

Many youth workers report an ongoing change in young people's use of public space. The research should analyse these changes in four European cities: Vienna, Helsinki, Stuttgart and Milan. It will be based on the experience of youth workers and on other data sources like historical analysis.A triangulation between desk research, qualitative and quantitative approaches will be implemented to study the leisure activities of young people, their use of public space and the youth worker's interpretation of these trends. Eventually the project will lead to policy and practice recommendations.
