Description
The Centre for Evidence-based Health Services Research is based on a cooperation between the Department of Evidence-based Medicine and Evaluation and the Lower Austrian Health and Social Fund (NÖGUS). Methods of evidence-based medicine are to be combined with those of analysing routine data (primarily data from the LKF system). The overarching aim of the centre is to use this innovative approach to contribute to the quality assurance and improvement of inpatient care in Lower Austria.
