Due to the scarcity of resources in the healthcare sector, managers in particular find themselves in a responsible and conflict-laden position. They must act for the benefit of patients, while at the same time acting in an economically justifiable manner and regularly making important strategic, operational decisions with extensive impact potential. Students create a linked overall understanding of the various accounting and controlling instruments from the perspective of holistic departmental or corporate planning and evaluation in order to be able to create a sustainable business plan in the healthcare sector.
Christian Steinlechner
