The EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), which is mandatory for all member states from May 2018, affects numerous companies and associations. Data protection managers in companies are expected to help implement the data protection regulations, carry out checks to ensure data protection and manage organizational and technical change processes. This is no easy task, especially in view of the drastic sanctions and problems in the event of a lack of data protection.

This seminar will teach you the current legal requirements and legal necessities for processing personal data in the company and make you fit for the GDPR.

The speakers of the seminar - they are authors of the book "Data Protection Audit - The Practical Guide to the GDPR" - explain the essential connections between data protection and information security. You will learn how to design corresponding processes in practice and thus gain comprehensive knowledge to perform the function of data protection manager or data protection officer in your company.
Gerlinde Ecker, MSc
