The increased economisation of all areas of the healthcare sector puts managers in particular in a responsible and conflict-laden position. They have to act for the benefit of the patients and at the same time in an economically justifiable manner and regularly make important strategic and operational decisions with extensive impact potential. The focus of this continuing education programme is on the latest research findings on the topics of emergency medical services and on-site operations management as well as the management skills required for this. Theory and practice are combined, particularly in application-orientated areas - such as the management of rescue services, structures and design of rescue systems - taking into account the legal foundations.
