Generative AI has the potential to fundamentally revolutionise our work and creative processes. It can not only process data, but also create completely new content. This enables it to automate everyday tasks - from programming to supporting creative processes - and allow people to focus on more meaningful activities. The low-threshold access to generative AI makes this technology available to a broad user base, promoting efficiency gains in a wide range of sectors and the creation of new business models. Generative AI is thus becoming a significant economic factor. The short programme teaches how generative models work in order to better assess their performance. Prompting strategies are used to improve competence in dealing with these models. In addition, the ability to integrate internal organisational data sources into large language models is acquired. Finally, options for customising these models are presented so that the desired output can be achieved.
Dr. Gregor Eibl

According to a recent study by the German Digital Economy Association in collaboration with the Hochschule der Medien, 96% of German companies believe that generative AI can have a positive impact on their business success. To ensure that companies are well prepared, the programme offers a quick introduction to the fascinating world of generative AI.
