Soil-water-plant systems are increasingly degraded in terms of their composition and ecosystem functions, leading to a loss of local climate regulation - heat, drought, rainwater balance - and diverse habitats for all. In order to strengthen these ecosystem functions and secure the associated ecosystem services in the long term, we use nature-based solutions for holistic solutions. Building on changing socio-ecological framework conditions, we develop integrative scope for action and design in order to promote the resilience of habitats.

“Nature-based Solutions” provides practical, nature-based solutions that you can use to independently design measures to adapt habitats.
