trengthen your academic and practical skills in political communication in order to be able to work at a high level as a politician, communication officer of political movements or parties, employee of interest groups and as a journalist.

This degree program will enable you to implement political communication in your day-to-day work, but also in election disputes or political change processes in a high-quality manner and in compliance with ethical standards. As a graduate, you will be able to plan and implement political communication in the interests of individuals, on behalf of a party, public institution or other political organization. You will also be able to evaluate political communication from a journalistic perspective. You will be able to integrate the knowledge of national and international media and lobbying networks acquired during your studies into your political communication.

In terms of combinable short studies (“stackable programs”), graduates have the opportunity to embed this further education as the core of a master's degree in communication. The completed modules can be credited in terms of content and funding.
Rosemarie Nowak

Disenchantment with democracy, hate messages, violence against political actors - the day-to-day business of political communication is getting tougher and tougher. This makes it all the more important to understand political communication as an educational topic. Strengthening professional and personal skills helps to cope better with the many challenges.

Mag. Rosemarie Nowak, Ph.D.
