Curriculum
In the second phase of the program, the Expert Program, students acquire the skills to inform, instruct, educate, and advise individuals, family members, or caregivers on diagnostic and therapeutic measures. They gain the capability for planning and organizing transitional care and discharge management. The completion of the first phase (Certificate Program) is considered equivalent to the advanced training in "Wound Management" according to § 64 of the Health and Nursing Care Act (Federal Law Gazette I No. 108/1997, as amended by Federal Law Gazette I No. 87/2016).
The key to innovative care for chronic wounds with improved outcomes lies in an equally evidence- and practice-oriented, interactive study of wound diagnosis and therapy.
