Become an Ernst Mach Fellow at the Department for Migration and Globalisation in Krems

We invite early-stage researchers to apply for the Ernst Mach Grant – worldwide, funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. This prestigious fellowship supports young researchers from all disciplines who wish to pursue a research project in Austria.

Eligibility criteria

• Applicants must be under 35 years of age.
• Applicants should by studying or working outside of Austria.
• A formal agreement with an Austrian university for the research stay is required. 

The fellowship, which spans up to 9 months, provides a stipend and covers living expenses. Further details on the Ernst Mach Grant – worldwide can be found here.

•    Notification of support, including feedback and recommendations from our department, will be provided by January 20, 2025.
•    The final deadline to submit applications to the OeAD is February 1, 2025.
