On-the-job training on risk management of historical manufacts

As part of the Risk Management for Cultural Heritage project, the lead partner Mazzini Lab, on behalf of the CHARISMA project consortium, invites you to a one-week on-the-job training in Milan.

The CHARISMA project Risk Management for Cultural Heritage addresses the risks to which our cultural heritage is exposed, aims to improve the skills of professionals in the cultural sector and to develop a training programme for a new professional figure, the Risk Manager for Cultural Heritage.

Topics covered during the week include the analysis and identification of risks to cultural heritage, the identification of risk mitigation measures, the definition of insurance coverage, risk management techniques and the development of security strategies for museums, archives and libraries.
A number of museums in Milan will be visited to give participants the opportunity to work on vulnerability analysis of real cases.

The course will be held in English.
The course is free of charge. Travel expenses will have to be covered by the participants.

Registration and coordination of the course will be organised by Mazzini Lab. Deadline for registration is 31st December 2023.
