Adrian Praschl-Bichler

About the person

Adrian Praschl-Bichler, MA BA BSc, is a Senior Scientist at the Platform for Sustainable Development at the University Krems. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Art History and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Vienna. His research is situated at the intersection of art history and psychology, with a particular focus on the empirical study of how art is perceived and processed. At the Platform, he brings this perspective into dialogue with socio-ecological questions, exploring the role of artistic practices and visual cultures in shaping perception, reflection and responses to contemporary societal challenges.
