Long-term affordable living in Lower Austria Potentials for cost-optimization of the planning, building and refurbishment of dwelling complexes with coincidental consideration of social and ecological characteristics

The goal of this research project is to provide bases for desicions for long-term investment-optimized and therefore socially acceptable new-built or refurbished dwellings. Representative construction projects for dwellings in Lower Austria are to be selected. All life cycle cost relevant data will be collected and analysed. Based on feasable scenarios of follow-up costs life cycle cost forecast calculations will be carried out. The results of these calculations will be analysed and the corresponding values for the key cost indicators will be calculated.
