Description

The American College of Physicians (ACP) will commission a systematic review to sup-port clinical practice guidelines on pharmacological management of acute migraine attacks. Key Question 1: In adult patients with acute episodic migraine attacks, what are the comparative benefits and harms of the following pharmacological treatments? Key Question 2. What are patients’ values and preferences on pharmacological manage-ment of acute migraine attacks (as defined in KQ1). How do patients value the out-comes of interest? How do patients weigh the benefits and harms of pharmacologic interventions for acute migraine attack? and how do they use this valuation in their decision making to undergo treatment?
