In the next event in the public lecture series "DEMIG Online Talks", the two law professors Avidan Kent and Simon Behrman will examine the extent to which the issue of climate-induced migration has been reflected in international law to date.

The fourth Interdisciplinary Migration Research Seminar from the series "Past and Future of Migration from Afghanistan" will take place on May 5, 2022. Dr. Kristian Harpviken, Research Professor at PRIO will hold the keynote on "Militant Mobilization and Exile: The Afghan case".
The Department of Migration and Globalisation deals in the online discussion event on March 23, 2022 at 4 p.m. with transnational identities and affiliations.
The third Interdisciplinary Migration Research Seminar from the series "Past and Future of Migration from Afghanistan" will take place on January 20, 2022. Ali Ahmad Safi, Danube University Krems, will hold the keynote on "The Role of the Afghan Diaspora in a Taliban-controlled Afghanistan".
The second Interdisciplinary Migration Research Seminar from the series "Past and Future of Migration from Afghanistan" will take place on December 16, 2021. Dr. Liza Schuster and Reza Hussaini from the City, University of London will hold the keynote on "Performing Policy-Making: The development of Afghanistan's Comprehensive Migration Policy and the role of the EU".
The Interdisciplinary Migration Research Seminar Series on "Past and Future of Migration from Afghanistan" will start with the first seminar on November 4, 2021.
