The idea behind the Smart Factory and the vision for Industry 4.0 is to establish digitalisation in industry and manufacturing and thus optimise production. Through self-controlling and autonomous processes, the factory of the future will be intelligently digitally networked, make its own decisions and organise itself - in other words, it will become ‘smart’.
It is possible to complete the ‘Smart Factory’ certificate programme first. Completed modules can then be credited towards the MBA further education programme with specialisation ‘Smart Factory’ or ‘Executive MBA’ in terms of content and funding.

Digital solutions, flexible production routes and short delivery times are essential. Smart Factory covers everything from production and maintenance to logistics for a holistic organisation.
