The quality of existing buildings is largely determined by building physics and indoor climate conditions. Building constructions as well as their architectural design are decisive for their effect.
Building in existing buildings is a complex process that also requires knowledge of building economics and numerous legal issues that go far beyond building law. Methodical procedures are the basis for the successful implementation of refurbishment projects. The Certificate Program “Revitalization Existing Buildings” lays the foundation for this success.
