The CHARISMA project is dedicated to address the risks posed to cultural heritage in their complexity, adopting a multi-level approach. One of the aims of the project is to develop and pilot training programmes for a future professional figure, the risk manager for cultural heritage. The summer school is part of this process.
Join us for the one-week summer school on risk management for historical buildings and monuments in the western part of Austria. The topics range from emergency plans and cutting-edge web applications to assessment of vulnerability and disaster impact and loss. The week includes visits and assessments of archives and libraries, housed in historical buildings and a focus on cooperation with emergency responders to be able to prepare in the best way possible for managing risks for cultural heritage.
