The Center for Higher Education Development and Innovation (ZHEI) is dedicated to the promotion and implementation of forward-looking educational strategies and innovative research approaches in the higher education sector. Our mission is to enhance the quality and relevance of higher education through multidisciplinary research, practice-oriented innovation and far-reaching educational initiatives, thus contributing to societal development.

Center for Higher Education Governance and Transformation

The Center focuses on the analysis of governance of and in higher education, and on how the transformation of governance interlinks with the governance of transformation. The broader conceptual understanding refers to higher education governance in context of knowledge society, knowledge economy and knowledge democracy.
