The 47th Annual Conference of the European Society for Artificial Organs (ESAO) took place from September 7-11, 2021. The Department for Biomedical Research participated in the conference with one invited lecture, two talks and three poster presentations. During the conference, Univ.-Prof. Viktoria Weber took over the presidency of ESAO from Prof. Piotr Ladyzynski (Warsaw). She will lead the Society for the next two years.
