The campus of the University for Continuing Education Krems offers a variety of “informal learning spaces” that students can use for a range of individual or collaborative learning activities outside of courses. The following list provides an overview of the different learning spaces at the University for Continuing Education Krems, including information on the equipment available.
Study Room
On the first floor above the library, there is a reading and computer room for quiet, focused learning activities (little or no distraction). The room is accessible from the first floor gallery via elevator or from Alauntalstraße and from the library foyer.

- Capacity: Reading and individual workstations for a maximum of 60 people, several computer workstations (PCs have CD/DVD drives), no groups
- Wi-Fi: Yes
- Characteristics: 7 reading table groups with power outlets and reading lamps
- Accessible: Yes, both via the elevator on Campuspromenade and via Alauntalstraße. However, the access doors are difficult to open.
Library
Along the window fronts, the library offers several reading places for concentrated learning activities (little or no distraction). In addition, there are glass booths that can be used, for example, to play audiovisual content.

Equipment:
- Capacity: 27 reading or learning stations in the open-access area for a maximum of 50 people (no groups), five glass cubicles for two to three people each, one training room for a maximum of 20 people (with projector, laptop, whiteboard, flip chart), which can be used by appointment.

- Characteristics: Reading tables with power outlets and two chairs each, book scanner, printer, photocopier, three PCs with CD/DVD drive, flatbed scanner, water dispenser, toilet including wheelchair-accessible toilet

Library Foyer
The acoustic furniture in the library foyer can also be used outside of library opening hours for individual activities or group work.

Breaktime Foyer
On the second floor in tract C, there is a large foyer with mobile seating, shelving and bar tables.

ÖH-Lounge
The ÖH Lounge can be used by all students at the University for Continuing Education Krems to study, work and drink coffee. With this, the ÖH offers students a retreat outside of the seminar room.

In the corridor outside the seminar rooms on Campus West, there is an acoustic booth for approx. four people and an acoustic cell for telephone calls (without seating).

On the first floor in tract L there is a large foyer with two acoustic cabins and seating.

Foyer Tract U
On the ground floor of Tract U, there are some seats in the foyers for studying, exchanging ideas or networking.

Wooden deck at the Loop
The "Loop" artwork between the old building and the Wachau railway station has a large wooden deck that can be used as a seat or a place to put things. However, there is little shade and no shelter from rain or wind.

Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi network eduroam is available to students in all rooms of the University for Continuing Education Krems. You can log in with your uwk:account.
Seminar participants without their own uwk:account can create a guest account. Please contact your contact person at the University for Continuing Education Krems.
Unfortunately Eduroam does not cover the wooden deck at the Loop (study area).
Gastronomy
The gastronomy at Campus Krems provides for the physical well-being of the students and staff at Campus Krems. In addition to culinary services, the premises also offer space for exchange or work.
The furniture on the terrace of the mensa and the Café Virginier can also be used outside of opening hours.
