Description

The “Healthy School” program in Lower Austria has been implemented by the »Tut gut!« Gesundheitsvorsorge GmbH for students in secondary schools since 2007. The aim of the accompanying research is to analyze the current implementation of the “Healthy School” program from the point of view of all program advisors. Furthermore, a set of indicators will be developed to assess the quality of the implementation of the program. We will conduct guideline-based interviews with the program managers, the six advisors, and 12 “Healthy School” representatives in order to ascertain variations in the implementation of the program and relevant contextual factors influencing implementation. A Delphi survey with the program managers and advisors aims at reaching a consensus on the relevance of functions of the program elements. In addition, a document analysis of 40 randomly selected schools will provide information on the measures implemented in the 2018/19 school year as part of the “Healthy School” program. This project is implemented in cooperation with the “Tut gut!” Gesundheitsvorsorge GmbH with funding from the Lower Austrian Health and Social Fund (NÖGUS).
