Description

Social marketing is a program planning process that applies commercial marketing concepts and strategies. The aim is to reduce risky health behaviours, such as alcohol and nicotine consumption, lower risky sexual behaviours, or encourage health-promoting behaviours, such as increased physical activity and healthy eating. The Centre for Evaluation is conducting an Overview of Reviews in cooperation with the Gesundheitsvorsorge GmbH "Tut gut!" to evaluate the effectiveness of social marketing activities in the areas of nutrition, exercise, and mental health, based on existing evidence. The project is funded by the Lower Austrian Health and Social Fund (NÖGUS).
