The Faculty of Economics and Globalization offers academic continuing education in the following study areas: economics and business management; law and administration; migration and international affairs; media, communication and knowledge management.
In total over 120 university courses – including more than 80 Master‘s programs (MSc, M.A., MBA, EMBA, LL.M.) – a team of experienced teachers promotes methodological and scientific thinking as well as industryspecific know-how; all based on a wide range of teaching and learning strategies. Science and practice are linked together, and networking among and with the students is encouraged.
PhD Programs
The faculty additionally offers the PhD program „Migration Studies“, which was accredited by AQ Austria and has been fully integrated into research. Together with the Andrássy University Budapest, the doctoral program „ECOnet – Economic and Political Development in Rural Areas“ is also carried out.
The PhD program “Technology, Innovation, and Cohesive Societies” is geared towards inter/transdisciplinary research with a tightly coupled interface between social science and computer science. The special feature of this PhD program is the treatment of digitization agendas, taking into account the potential resilience implications of new technologies and innovations.
ERASMUS Mundus Joint Master
Since fall 2020, the faculty coordinates the new Master's program "Transition, Innovation and Sustainability Environments" together with three European universities and other partners from research and practice. The program is funded by the European Commission within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus program.
