Studying at the center
The center's study program is closely linked to its research activities. The master's program "Game Studies MA (CE)" offers students an opportunity to develop a broad understanding of game studies, to critically reflect its many dimensions and areas of application, and to relate this knowledge to their individual and professional interests, demands, and aspirations. In addition, a diverse range of "Certificate Programs" allows students to deepen their knowledge in a variety of focus areas even without a master's degree.
In addition, the Center regularly organizes lectures and workshops on current developments in the field of games and society as opportunities for practical and academically high-grade continuing education for students and graduates.
Information about our study program is currently only available on the website in German.
From summer semester 2025 we plan to offer the continuing education master's programme "Game Studies" in English and as a distance learning course. If you are interested, please contact the study programme manager Natalie Denk.
