The tasks of the purchasing department comprise regular negotiations of frame contracts, price negotiations and acquisition of infrastructural inventory. Furthermore, the activities of the purchasing department include various insurance affairs and European tender procedures. Thus, the purchasing department works in close cooperation with the Federal Procurement Agency (FPA).
