Open Educational Resources (OER) are educational materials, digital or otherwise, which are made freely accessible by means of appropriate licenses and are therefore available for use, editing and further dissemination. OER can be part of study programs and offer the opportunity to use learning materials flexibly in different educational contexts.
By publishing Open Educational Resources (OER), the University of Krems, with its many years of experience and expertise in the field of academic continuing education, is contributing to the development and establishment of university quality standards for OER. It also increases the visibility of its own teaching and the accessibility of continuing education. OER support international networking and knowledge exchange and thus contribute to the further development of the university.
