Description
Living Danube Limes focuses on connecting, enlivening, researching, preserving and highlighting the Roman Danube Limes as a transnational cultural heritage of enormous importance, in order to create a solid basis for a future European Cultural Route.
The project builds on the history and archaeology of the Roman Danube Region, strengthens the structure of museums and visitor centers along the Danube and develops concepts for the maintenance and protection of the Roman heritage as well as for green and sustainable tourism.
