The Austrian Centre for Evidence-Based Healthcare - A JBI Affiliated Group - is part of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Collaboration. Founded in 1996, the global network extends to over 85 collaborating partners in more than 40 countries. The focus of the JBI Collaboration is to provide high quality evidence syntheses and their implementation into clinical practice to improve the quality and outcomes of healthcare.

Main tasks of the Austrian Centre for Evidence-based Healthcare - a JBI partner group.

This centre is currently being established and will strive to achieve three overarching goals: to produce high-quality evidence syntheses, to promote knowledge and methods transfer, and to provide evidence relating to the implementation and de-implementation of various healthcare treatments and interventions. In addition to this, this partner group will offer lectures and workshops at (inter)national events, produce methodological research, collaborate in international networks, and develop local partnerships.
