Programme MARIHE Day
The symposium will use the the concept of the “governance equalizer” (De Boer, Enders, Schimank) to analyse the national context and to compare with international developments. Commentators will pay attention to state regulation, stakeholder guidance, academic self-governance, managerial self-governance and competition. The first part (opening ceremony) of the symposium is dedicated to changes and challenges in higher education at MARIHE partner countries. The afternoon – the governance hub (public seminar) – will be an interactive session with students from the sixth cohort of MARIHE. Reflection on governance perspectives around the world will be discussed with international experts and participants.
