The specialized field’s study programs are internationally oriented and combine law with other disciplines such as politics, economics, criminology and medicine. The interdisciplinary study programs offer students a practice-oriented education that takes current developments into account and help to optimize both national and international career opportunities in a world shaped by internationalization, globalization and competition.
Additionally the specialized field is committed to children's rights and, on the occasion of the "International Day of Children's Rights", regularly organizes its children's rights symposium "Children's Rights - Desire and Reality" together with the Children's and Youth Advocacy of the Province of Lower Austria, which serves as a platform to exchange knowledge in the field of children's rights.
